    October 19th, 2016:
    Cleveland, you have ONE job…

Holy Buckets Terry Francona, you KNOW what can happen when a team is down 0-3 and you take your foot off the gas (or their throat, depending on what analogy you want to use…) Actually NO ONE knows it better than you.
Which is why it is so very troubling that your Cleveland Indians, up 3-0 in this ALCS allowed Toronto to win last night. I know its baseball and anything can (and usually does) happen, but its human nature for folks to think “No worries, we’re up 3-0, no WAY they are going to win 4 in a row…”

And holy crap the SOX did this to them in 2007! They were down 3-1 and came back to win the next 3. And not only did they win, they beat the SNOT out of them, out scoring them 30-5 in those contests…, and 51 to 32 over all 7…While this was fun for Red Sox fans, Tito, of all people should remember….

Honestly, I think Cleveland will make it to the World Series, but the Chicago Cubs are still the favorite to win the World Series, which is kind of surprising, seeing the Cubs are down against Los Angeles. But again, it’s baseball..fickle mistress that she is…

However, Speaking of 0-3 in the ALCS, today is the 12 year anniversary of Curt Schilling and the Bloody Sock–AKA as Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS where the Boston Red Sox made history by coming back 0-3 and winning four in a row–against the Skanks…

Nope, that NEVER gets old…Not even a little tiny bit…Even tho I thought my nervous system was going to collapse from the stress, not enough sleep, FAR too much coffee, and too many cigarettes….

And it was almost anti-climactic when the Sox swept St. Louis to win their first World Series in 86 years…

Coming up: Game 5 of the ALCS and the 3rd and final game in Toronto, C’mon Cleveland, SHUT THE FREAKING DOOR and get this done already…1st pitch 4:00pm

Also on tonight is the NLCS, which the fracking DODGERS are leading 2-1. C’mon Cubs, you didn’t get this far just to crap out now, did you? 1st pitch 8:00pm

Cause honestly, I don’t think the world can stomach a Dodgers/Toronto World Series–Blech…

    Let’s Go Cleveland and Chicago!
