Winter Wiffle Ball (2)Next Saturday and Sunday, January 26th and 27th, Extra Innings in Woburn, MA, will host a Winter Wiffle Ball Tournament, with proceeds benefiting the Sandy Hook Elementary School PTA in Newton, CT.

Sponsored by VITT PE, LLC- changing lives through the physical, the Lowell Spinners, the Nashua Silver Knights, NBAonNBC, Shortstuff Inc, Wiffle Ball, Extra Innings-Woburn, and Bawstin’s Energy Drink, the tournament will be set up as a non-competitive tournament where people of all ages can come and play just to have fun and benefit a great cause.

Teams of 5 can sign up for $50 and they will be matched up with other teams that are around the same age, with each contest lasting an hour.

Families, neighbors, co-workers, etc wishing to play against each other, can purchase an hour block to do so for $100.

Don’t want to play, but want to show your support? Stop on by Extra Innings over the weekend and watch some wiffle ball, and make a donation to this very worthy cause.

Event Organizer Michel Winn explains the reason behind the benefit: “Last summer a team from Newtown, Conn was in Burlington for the 12 year old New England Regional Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament. My group (he manages the team from Burlington) played in tournaments with teams from Newtown for the past 4 years so I got to know some of the coaches, etc. I reached out to them after the shootings and offered our prayers and support and have decided to put together a fundraiser to benefit The Sandy Hook Elementary School PTA…It should be a fun event for all ages.”

For more info, sign up a team, or sponsor the event, you can email Michael Winn at michaelwinn33@yahoo.com.

Asking questions are actually good thing if you are not
understanding anything entirely, however this paragraph provides
      good understanding yet.
