Once again, Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett will trade in his cleats for bowling shoes to throw strikes for charity during the sixth-annual Beckett Bowl at Jillian’s Lucky Strike Lanes in Boston.
Joining the Red Sox ace will be an all-star line-up of athletes and celebrities helping to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals. The evening includes a celebrity bowling tournament with live and silent auctions, followed by the Beckett Bowl 10 Man Jam, presented by WKLB at the House of Blues Boston.
Featuring an exciting line-up of athletes and celebrities joining local corporations and individuals who will bowl to raise funds for children in need, the roster of VIPs includes current and past Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, and New England Revolution players, along with actors, comedians, musicians and celebrity chefs with New England ties.
Local corporations and philanthropic individuals are invited to sponsor four-person bowling teams for the event. Each team will be joined by a celebrity teammate and will compete for unique prize packages and awards. Limited spots are available for group packages and lane sponsorship. For pricing inquiries, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the sponsorship page online.
Following the live auction and awards ceremony, guests will move to House of Blues Boston for the Beckett Bowl 10 Man Jam concert, a 21+ event featuring performances by country musicians Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Randy Rogers, Stoney LaRue, and many more (artists subject to change).
A $250 General Admission ticket grants access to watch the action at Beckett Bowl with complimentary food and beverage, as well as a ticket to the Beckett Bowl 10 Man Jam concert. Concert-only tickets are also available for $45.00 – $65.00 depending on location. All tickets are available here…
Josh weighs in on the event: “It’s hard to believe we are already heading into year six, and that’s really a testament to the local sports and business community, which continues to be the backbone of this event’s success. “I’m incredibly proud that our Foundation has been able to raise critical funds for Boston Children’s Hospital since we started in 2007, but the real reward is being able to see the impact the donations have made on the lives of the patients and their families.”
The Josh Beckett Foundation, organizer of Beckett Bowl, supports community-based programs that improve the health and well-being of children, especially those who are seriously ill, disabled, poor, or otherwise disadvantaged.
