At 9:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at ImageAdams Field in Quincy MA, 100 Innings of Baseball will begin–and will continue until every last inning is played…which is usually about 33 hours later…

Started in 2004, The 100 Innings of Baseball Spectacular began as a fundraiser for Curt’s Pitch for ALS program to aid the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The 2011 campaigns proceeds will support the ALS Clinic at Beth Israel Medical Center where Umpire Chief Walter Bentson, continues his mission to fight ALS.

Sign up to play now! Play 1 inning or play 100, baseball players aged 18 to 100 are invited to play in this charity baseball game to support ALS. In the 8 years since its inception, the world’s longest baseball game has raised more than $488,000.

Registration is $40 per person, payable at the field, with a minimum donation to ALS of $60 also to be collected at the field. Participants are urged to set personal fundraising goals of $1,000–that’s just 20 people at $50 each! Donations forms are here to get you started…

Can’t make the game, but still want to help out? You can donate on-line to this great cause…
