    Tickets-for-Charity to Offer Special Opportunities
    to Boston Red Thoughts Readers…

Boston Red Thoughts is proud to announce we are partnering with tfc logoTickets-for-Charity to offer an exclusive readers giveaway. As a member of the TFC Red Sox VIP group, each month I will be posting details on that month’s giveaway, and providing a link for you to enter to win. All winners will be chosen at random. So stay tuned in the next few weeks for details on May’s giveaway…

Founded by Charity Partners, Inc., Tickets-For Charity, in conjunction with celebrities and sports teams, offers fans the opportunity to purchase amazing tickets, as well as access to insider-only access to VIP experiences–all while helping out tons of great causes

    Here’s how it works:

    • Celebrities/Artists/Sports teams make a selection of premium Seats available for Charitable Sales.
    • Then, folks like you and I head over to Tickets for Charity (TFC) and purchase some tickets, actually paying the same or sometimes even BETTER price than we would if we did the ticket broker or scalper thing–which is very cool, in and of itself, but now 100% of the monies over and above the face value (which goes back to whoever provided the tickets) of the ticket go to charity!!!

So you buy the same tickets you were going to buy anyway, and at least the price you were going to pay for them (if not better) AND help a charity? This is truly a win-win for everyone involved!

Of course, in order for all of the proceeds from the ticket sale to go to the charity named, TFC does charge a per-ticket service fee to cover their administrative expenses–but so does everyone else.

Since 2005, Tickets-for-Charity has raised millions of dollars for highly respected non-profit organizations through Charitable Sale programs, including more than $800,000 directly benefiting the Red Sox Foundation.

But the good deeds don’t stop there. Tickets-for-Charity also accepts ticket donations for select sports and entertainment events nationwide on behalf of our partner charities. Have some tickets you would like to donate? Send an email to info@charity-partners.com

About Charity Partners: Created to dramatically increase critically needed funding to some of the world’s most admired charities and foundations, Charity Partners’ free fundraising platform enables the partner charities to spend more time executing their missions to serve and less time seeking the funding to do so. Tickets-for-Charity is Charity Partners’ first fundraising platform, offering music and sports fans the opportunity to access great seats to high-demand live events nationwide while supporting respected charities in the process.

In addition to currently partnering with more than 30 highly-respected national charities and foundations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Feeding America, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The National Children’s Cancer Society, and United Way Worldwide, Charity Partners/Tickets for Charity have also have supported performing artist and sports team foundations. They invite team-affiliated foundations across the country to benefit from free hosting on their platform in order to meet the dramatic increase in consumers seeking local giving opportunities.

So if you need tickets–Tickets for Charity had ticket for every game at Fenway Park this year–head on over and check them out!
