Want the perfect Christmas gift for your favorite Red Sox fan?  Tickets are available for New Stars for Young Stars VI, to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.  The event wil be held on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Jillian’s in Boston.

Ticket holders will be granted the unique opportunity to meet and receive autographs from Red Sox players and up-and-coming Minor Leaguers. The event will also feature a buffet lunch, opportunity drawing, silent auction, and bowling to help strike out cancer.  Participating players so far include Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Ryan Kalish, Darnell McDonald, Daniel Nava, Will Middlebrooks, Jeremy Hazelbaker, and this year’s special guest former Red Sox player Bill Mueller.

Since its inception in 2006, the Jimmy Fund Council of Greater Boston and New Stars for Young Stars has raised more than $130,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, hosted approximately 250 clinic patients and their families at private parties with Red Sox players, and contributed nearly 1,500 pieces of autographed memorabilia to patients at the Jimmy Fund Clinic.

Tickets cost $99 and $250, and are available now.  This autograph-signing event provides a unique and memorable opportunity to meet and greet some of the newer Red Sox players, as well as many of the up-and-coming minor league players from the Red Sox organization. The perfect gift, for the perfect cause–a win win for everyone!
