Don't jump off the nearest tall building just yet. You've been decimated by injuries and the season is still young enough for you to come back. I'm reminded of the 1973 Mets. It was the "You gotta believe!" year; and they got healthy just in time to make it to the World Series. They took the powerhouse Oakland team, that was in the middle of a three-peat, to 7 games. Pitching, pitching, pitching.

But if that doesn't work out, you can still root for them to finish in the 1st Tier in the pennant race league. I believe it adds satisfation to a non-post-season year.

Good work on the Pitch in For Baseball stuff. I need to do something on my blog.

As far as negative Steinbrenner stuff, I'm laying off for now. Maybe during the off-season I'll mention some Yankee and baseball fan gripes.
