    Tale of the Batterymates–Part 2

Posted by Christine E. at 6:52 pm in Baseball,General,Random Thoughts Comments (5)

The 2nd half of my Batterymates for your blog-reading pleasure. Again, make sure you tell ’em Christine E. sent you…

Red Sox Super Fan: Not only do they blog about Red Sox Nation–they offer one-stop shopping when it comes to the Red Sox, offering info on where the best places to hang out before and after a game, where to buy tickets, the whole package.

Scarlet Fever: A member of the under 18 faction of Red Sox Nation. Extremely well-written Blog, writes well beyond her years, very funny, and HATES Roger the Mercenary–what more can you ask for?

Sox & Dawgs: Formerly known as “Random Thoughts”, Ian writes about everything Red Sox as well as the UCONN Huskies and other sports. One of the most concise and up to the minute blogs out there, with frequent updates every day.  Ian gets the scoop before its even scoop…

Sox and Pinstripes: One of the best “dueling” blogs out there–One writer a Sox Fan, One a Yankee fan battling it out in the blogosphere. Very fair and balanced blogging–even from the Yankee writer…

Talk Sox: Another super Red Sox Forum, boating over 2000 rabid Red Sox Fans among it’s ranks. Always information and passionate, a great place to hang before, during and after a Red Sox game.

The Game of Baseball: Written by two guys who actually make their living talking/writing/reporting about sports, The Game of Baseball has scoop on all 30 major league teams. With insightful analysis and commentary, this is a good overall baseball blog.

The Mighty Quinn Media Machine: Quinn was the 1st blog writer who agreed to trade links with Boston Red Thoughts–and is still one of the best writers out there. Not only does he write about the Sox, but he puts his talent to good use writing about being a New Yorker and all that entails–and he has the unique gift for being able to be sentimental, without ever being sappy–a skill that is lost on a lot of writers…

Touching All the Bases: Formerly with the Concord Monitor, now writing for the Boston Globe, Chad Finn offers insightful and well-written commentary in the hometown team–featuring his very popular “Nine Innings”, Chad is always a must read for any Red Sox fan.

Varitek for President: Another member of the teenage sect of Red Sox Nation–great writing and humor.

World According to Kaylee: One of the most passionate and intense Red Sox fans out there–and she is only 15! Also takes the time to comment everywhere–this girl knows her Sox!
