Right Team, Wrong Number…
I guess the reported $42 million was not enough…
It’s official, The Boston Red Sox have won the bidding right to negotiate a contract with Japanese pitching phenom Daisuke Matsuzaka. The cost? 51.1 MILLION dollars… Holy Buckets! They now have 30 days to make a deal with Matsuzaka and the Devil…
And why $51.1? Why not and even 50? or 50 million and 1 dollar? I wonder who else bid, and how much…
So, how pissed do you think King George and the Skankee fans are at this hour? tehehehehe
Now the big question–does anyone know how to pronouce the his name?
This is going to be a FUN offseason…
Go Sox!
