Red Sox 4, Royals 10 I don’t even know what to say anymore…

It’s bad enough we lose to crappy, pathetic teams like this..but giving up 6 runs in the 12th INNING???
I don’t even know what to say, or how to respond to this….I….JUST….CAN’T…
Today: Julian Tavarez vs Mark Redman, 2:05pm

    Red Sox 9, Kansas City 10 C’mon guys…

You would THINK that NINE runs would be enough to win a ballgame–especially against the Kansas City Royals…ARGH…
    But thanks to Jason Johnson…er…Kevin Jarvis (5IP, 10 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 1BB, 1 SO and 1 HR (a 3-run shot…), with 89 pitches, 59 for strikes.and a health 8.85 ERA–8.85!!! And the most HORRIBLE thing? [...]

Red Sox 1, White Sox 8 Knew it was too good to be true…

After tonight 21 games remain before the post season starts–the 1st one the Red Sox will not be participating in since 2002…Cat Sh*t!!!
Wake me up: Tim Wakefield threw another simulated game on Wednesday, going five innings and throwing 80 pitches. “I got up and down five times and everything felt okay,” said Wakefield. “In warm-ups, [...]

Red Sox 1, White Sox 0 The Sox in 2:14…

Wow…the editing team at NESN won’t have much to do to edit last night’s game to fit in their format for their show “The Red Sox in 2″–a 1-0 win in 2 hours and 14 minutes…WOW….
Speaking of WOW, the Red Sox have apparently been sent to the Twilight Zone–where else can Rookie [...]

Red Sox 3, White Sox 2 I heart Carlos Pena

With the exception of Big Papi, I cannot think of another person I would have rathered to have hit that walk-off homer run than Carlos Pena…and did you see how Big Papi was climbing the walls in the dugout, wishing he could be the one who could go out there and end it? But Big [...]

This is what I’m talkin’ about!

Now THIS is what I call a lineup befitting the Boston Red Sox! (all except the DH spot of course…)
    1. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
    2. Mark Loretta, 2B
    3. Eric Hinske, DH
    4. Manny Ramirez, LF
    5. Trot Nixon, RF
    6. Mike Lowell, 3B
    7. Jason Varitek, C
    8. Gabe Kapler, CF
    9. Alex Gonzalez, SS
Now, if only we had a pitcher….
    Go [...]

    Red Sox 1, Blue Jays 6 9 more questions…

Because I am TIRED of talking/writing/complaining about the SAME…DAMN… THINGS…I have 9 more questions:
    9. Why wasn’t a MRI performed on Jonathan Papelbon the day after the injury, on Saturday, rather than waiting until Monday? ‘Cause it’s the weekend? Well, Monday is Labor Day–a national holiday. I have no medical training, and there very [...]

    Red Sox 1, Blue Jays 5 A Homecoming…

Sox get Punk’d: A.J. Burnett, pitching a complete-game three-hitter, struck out five. The only run came on, of all things, a GIDP by Eric Hinske in the seventh. Said Francona. “We had the one inning where we got the infield hit. We put him in motion and Lowell shoots it to right, and it looks [...]

    Well wishes for Jon Lester…

Anyone who wants to send a message to Jon Lester may do so here…

Red Sox 2, Toronto 1 Another day, another couple of injuries…

W…T…F…??? Just when you think “Who else is there that could get hurt, everyone is already gone?” Our rock, the man we have counted on to carry us for a good part of the year, the David Ortiz of pitching…Jonathan Paplebon has to leave the game in the 9th after injuring his arm…The latest [...]
