Red Sox 9, Mets 4 Red Sox 10 Mets 2 Red Sox 4, Mets 2 Can you say TWELVE???

“I’m not disappointed at all. I think I won the game on one side…Not even a win would give me the satisfaction I got from the fans…I will always remember that as one of the best memories…I won my game, the most important game to me.” Pedro Martinez, after giving up 8 runs in 3 […]

Red Sox 10, Phillies 2 Red Sox 5, Phillies 3 Red Sox 8, Phillies 7–in 12! Can we say NINE in a row???

Whooo Hooo! Our THIRD sweep! The boys are on a roll! It won’t last forever, but when they are playing like this, it reminds of that amazing run in August and September of 2004–and we all know how that turned out…I know, I know, its only June, there are plenty more games to […]

Red Sox 11, Nationals 3 Red Sox 9, Nationals 3: And that is 6 in a row!

Whooo Hooo! 6 games in a row…too bad the Skankees could not have lost a couple more, but we will take what we can get…
    Some comments:
A reporter asked Rudy Seanez what he thought about all the booing he gets at Fenway and he basically said something along the lines of “I don’t give a […]

Red Sox 6, Nationals 3: 2 Games ahead in the AL East!

Wanted to try something different–an in-game blog. Wanted to start on time, but could not find the freakin remote–and for those of you who own TiVo, you know that without the remote, your TiVo and TV are pretty worthless….
7:11pm: I tune in and it’s the top of the 1st, 2 outs and we are […]

Friday, June 16: Red Sox 4, Atlanta 1 Saturday, June 17: Red Sox 5, Atlanta 3 Sunday, June 18: Red Sox 10, Atlanta 7 This time, WE do the sweeping!

Unfortunately, I did not get to see alot of Red Sox baseball this weekend, but I have some comments on what I did see–plus some stuff I heard about…
Why O Why O WHY does Terry Francona PERSIST in bringing Rudy Seanez and/or Julian Tavarez into games???? Last night’s game, Seanez comes in with […]

Red Sox 3, Twins 5 And the sweep is complete…

Well, Wake’s back was better, and he even tho he did enough to keep us in the game (6.0 IP, 8 hits, 4 runs), once again the offense decides to take the night off when Wake is pitching….
I have no idea why this happens–It used to happen to Pedro, it used to happen to Frank […]

    Red Sox 1, Twins 8 So I guess Clement’s arm isn’t better…

This is getting ridiculous…Clement was pulled in the 5th inning, after giving up his 6th walk…apparently the 8-9 days rest wasn’t enough, as his bicep is still cramping up…so its MRI day for him today. Last week, there was an article about how honorable he was being about missing a start because he gets […]

Red Sox 2, Twins 5 Julian Tavarez has GOT TO GO!!

Am I the only one who sees this???!! He and Rudy Seanez are POISON…They come into a game and it’s like watching a train wreck–cause 9 times out of 10 they manage to lose the game for us in some stupendously horrible fashion!!!
ANOTHER game we should have won… Schill pitched beautifully, as did Johan […]

Red Sox: 2 games, Rangers: 2 games You win some, you lose some.

So out of 4 games in 3 days (and at some moments it didn’t look like we were going to get to the 4 games) we take 2, one in spectacular fashion with a walk off 3 run homer by Big Papi… And the Skankees got swept, Johnny Damon is bitching to the press, […]

June 7, 2006: Red Sox and Skankees: Can’t win if you don’t play!

The worst thing about playing the Skankees (besides they fact that they are, well, the Skankees) is the fact that actually watching this bunch makes me physically sick to my stomach. Here are a few reasons why:
    Johnny Damon: Skeezy Bastard…’nuf said
Derek Jeter: Have you ever seen anyone who is more PRECIOUS?? He’s the Yankee CAP-TEN! […]
